62-year-old woman dies in e-bike crash in Huntington Beach

A woman riding an electric bike was killed in a crash at Warner Avenue and Brightwater Drive in Huntington Beach.

KTLA 5 reported that a 62-year-old woman died after a crash involving her electric bicycle in Huntington Beach, Orange County.

The incident occurred on October 17 around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Brightwater Drive, according to KTLA 5.

Huntington Beach police said the woman was riding in the bike lane when the crash happened, based on a preliminary investigation.

Authorities have not released further details about the crash or any other vehicles involved, KTLA 5 noted.
