The Verge reported that code in the iOS 27.3 beta includes a flag for a “Conversational Apps” category, suggesting Apple could introduce AI chatbots to its HomeView smart home hub.

While details are scarce, it appears that chatbots similar to ChatGPT and Claude might be integrated into HomeView, expanding its capabilities for users.

Additional features in the beta include support for bidirectional audio routing and session management, although these functions are not yet fully operational, according to The Verge.

Apple has also incorporated anti-spoofing protections requiring user authentication after three failed attempts, with a lockout system that increases wait times from one hour to eight hours for repeated lockouts.

Neither the chatbot integration nor the new security features have been officially announced by Apple, and there is no information on their release timeline.
