The Bainbridge Island Swim Club expressed gratitude to the community for supporting its annual Swim Challenge, as reported by the Bainbridge Island Review.

During the event, swimmers logged 230,425 meters, which is approximately 2.7 times around Bainbridge Island, in one hour of continuous swimming in the pool.

The funds raised, totaling $35,000, will help support the swim team and program, especially after challenges including an extended pool closure, changing practice locations, disrupted schedules, and additional travel.

The event was hosted at Town & Country Market, which welcomed swimmers and families, providing an opportunity for the swimmers to connect with the community and rally support.

The club thanked everyone who donated, volunteered, counted laps, or offered encouragement, highlighting the community's ongoing support for its young athletes.
