BOK Financial reported that loan growth and margin expansion helped offset trading headwinds during the third quarter of 2026, according to a transcript from Fool.com.

Dime Commercial announced record revenue of $135 million for Q3 2026, driven by higher net interest income. The company reported a net interest margin (NIM) of 3.35%, marking 10 consecutive quarters of expansion, with a future NIM target of over 3.60% by the end of 2027. Business loans grew 30% year over year, reaching nearly $4 billion, as the company diversified away from multifamily lending, according to an earnings call transcript on AOL.com.

Atlantic Union saw net income surge 50% year over year, supported by accelerated loan growth. The bank's net interest margin declined slightly by 6 basis points to 3.88% due to increased funding costs and customer migration to interest-bearing products. Loans held for investment rose to $29.3 billion, an 8.6% annualized increase, driven by commercial, industrial, and construction lending. Total deposits also increased by 6.5% annualized to $31 billion, per an AOL.com earnings call transcript.

These reports indicate continued momentum in the banking sector's lending businesses, with institutions expanding loan portfolios and improving margins despite some cost pressures.

Looking ahead, Dime Commercial aims to increase its net interest margin further by the end of 2027, while Atlantic Union and BOK Financial will monitor funding costs and trading conditions as they manage growth.
