Bo Bryan, son of Luke Bryan, commits to Georgia football
Battle Ground Academy quarterback Bo Bryan announced his commitment to play football at the University of Georgia.
Bo Bryan, quarterback at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, has committed to play football at the University of Georgia, an SEC school, according to Yahoo Sports.
Bo made his decision known through a social media post on October 25, following an offer from Georgia's football program earlier that week. His father, country music star Luke Bryan, who is a well-known Georgia Bulldogs fan, was present when the offer was made on October 20.
Bo Bryan is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound pocket passer praised by his high school coach for his arm strength, spatial awareness, and leadership qualities. Despite a recent broken collarbone injury, he is a first-year starter who has drawn interest from multiple schools including Arkansas State, Tennessee Tech, Austin Peay, and Eastern Kentucky.
Bo Bryan's high school coach, Bobby Bentley, noted that other programs such as LSU, SMU, and Virginia also showed interest, but Bo's commitment to Georgia was driven by his long-standing desire to play there. The coach also highlighted Luke Bryan's positive involvement with the team culture and support for his son.
Bo attended Georgia's camp during the summer, and the school's offensive coordinator has visited his high school, indicating a strong recruiting connection. Bo expressed confidence that Georgia was the right place for him to continue his football career.
