A railroad bridge near Marysville, officially known as Binney Junction but nicknamed “The Marysville can opener,” has been the site of numerous truck accidents involving mangled 18-wheelers and damaged trailers, FOX40 reported.

These incidents have caused hours of traffic delays, frustrating drivers who frequently pass through the area.

Caltrans announced that a project to address the problems at the bridge will begin soon, aiming to prevent further accidents and improve traffic flow.

The project is expected to enhance safety for truckers and other drivers traveling through Binney Junction, reducing the risk of damage and delays caused by the low-clearance bridge.
