The City of Sacramento is reducing street closures and modifying safety precautions in Old Sacramento after a decline in service calls, FOX40 reported.
The Sacramento Police Department and the Downtown Sacramento Partnership initially implemented the Traffic Management Plan in July following a stabbing incident that resulted in five people stabbed and two arrests early one morning.
Since then, the number of service calls has decreased, prompting city officials to adjust the safety measures to better fit current conditions.
