The Washington DC area, including parts of Maryland and Virginia, is forecast to have cool and dry weather on Halloween evening, according to FOX 5 DC's Weather Team.

Saturday morning will start cool with increasing clouds through the day, reaching a high near 67 degrees. The evening will remain cloudy but dry, with temperatures in the low 60s, ideal for trick-or-treaters and those handing out candy.

FOX 5's Tucker Barnes noted that the temperature will be comfortable for wearing costumes without being too hot or cold.

Daylight saving time ends Sunday morning, so clocks will fall back one hour overnight after Halloween.

Rain is not expected until later next week, with temperatures rising into the 70s by Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
