Bon Appetit shared eight delicious host gifts for the holidays that do not include wine, providing alternatives for guests to bring to gatherings.

One recommended option is Ghia’s Le Spritz Blood Orange, a bubbly nonalcoholic drink that serves as a substitute for an Aperol spritz or prosecco, according to Bon Appetit.

For cheese lovers, the magazine suggests soft-rind cheeses that are best served at room temperature, such as St. Stephen from Four Fat Fowl, a triple-cream cheese noted for its buttery texture that appeals even to children.

Another cheese option is Rush Creek Reserve, a fondue-like cheese wrapped in spruce bark from Uplands in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, praised for its dippable consistency.

Bon Appetit also highlights Paleta from Campo Grande, an ultramarbled Ibérico pork shoulder aged for three years, described as melting in the mouth and a popular charcuterie board item.

Ethically sourced caviar is another gift idea, with Island Creek Oysters in Duxbury, Massachusetts, offering Italian White Sturgeon Caviar with next-day shipping, recommended to serve with thick potato chips and creamy dairy like labneh.

Additional suggestions include Fishwife’s Cantabrian Anchovies paired on toasted baguette with cultured butter or sweet tomatoes, creating classic or enhanced tartines.
