According to the White House, First Lady Melania Trump and Louisiana State University have established a $7.2 million permanent endowment fund.

The fund is dedicated to supporting FOSTERING THE FUTURE scholarships for LSU students who have experienced foster care.

The initiative aims to provide educational opportunities and support for foster care alumni attending LSU.

The White House highlighted that a strong education prepares individuals not only for work life but also for broader success.
