Four people hospitalized after shooting in Walton County near Atlanta

Four people were shot at a residence in Walton County; police are investigating the incident.

Police in Monroe, Walton County, responded to a disturbance call late Saturday night at a residence on Parkway Place where gunfire broke out, Atlanta News First reported.

Upon arrival just before midnight, officers found that four individuals had been shot by multiple shooters, according to the report.

Three victims drove themselves to Piedmont Walton Hospital, while a fourth was transported by emergency services, the police said.

Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances of the shooting and working to identify the suspects involved.
