The Golden State Valkyries evened the WNBA Finals series at 2-2 by defeating the Atlanta Dream 67-62, CBS News Bay Area reported. Gabby Williams led the team with 17 points and a strong defensive effort after delivering a motivational speech to her teammates.

Williams said she was motivated to set the tone for the team after a disappointing previous game. Tiffany Hayes contributed 13 points, all in the second half, while Kiah Stokes anchored the defense, limiting Angel Reese's effectiveness.

Reese, who had been dominant in the first three games with double-doubles, struggled in Game 4, scoring only eight points and missing many shots. Stokes grabbed 16 rebounds and emphasized the team's focus on winning the next game.

The Valkyries will host Game 5 of the best-of-seven series on Monday, with the series now a best-of-three. Stokes noted the team’s goal was to steal a win on the road, which they accomplished, keeping their championship hopes alive.
