Cisco to raise prices on select software and hardware starting Nov. 7
San Jose-based Cisco announces price increases on networking and security software and some hardware products.
Cisco, headquartered in San Jose, California, will increase list prices on certain networking and security software products and a limited selection of hardware starting November 7, according to CRN.
The price changes, described as a portfolio "rebalancing," will see software prices rise by mid-single digit percentages on average. The company did not disclose which hardware products will be affected or the extent of the hardware price increases.
Tim Coogan, Cisco's senior vice president of global partner sales, informed solution providers and partners about the upcoming changes just before the company's 2026 Partner Summit in Canada, emphasizing the need to optimize the product portfolio in line with market dynamics and innovation investments.
Cisco will maintain its standard price protection policies for these purchases and plans to collaborate closely with partners and customers to manage the transition.
