Maryland State Police and local fire departments rescued a hunter suspended in a tree stand near Jackson Mountain.
A hunter was rescued by Maryland State Police (MSP) helicopter after falling from a tree stand in a remote area of Allegany County, WBFF reported.
On October 22, officials requested the MSP Aviation Command after the hunter was found suspended upside down in an unknown section of Jackson Mountain, according to FOX45 Baltimore.
The Trooper 5 crew and an Allegany County Advanced Technical Rescue specialist arrived and used an AW139 helicopter to position over a clearing. Rescue personnel were lowered to the ground to assist.
