Residents of the Adams Point neighborhood near Garner in Johnston County have experienced intermittent losses of water, power, and internet service over the past week due to ongoing fiber line installation work, WRAL reported.

The construction is part of a T-Mobile project to install a fiber line, and multiple residents have expressed frustration about the disruptions. One resident described the situation as having gotten "out of control" in recent days.

Internet outages occurred unexpectedly while some residents were working from home, with crews digging in yards causing interruptions. Additionally, the construction led to a water main break, which has since been repaired.

Some residents faced significant challenges due to the outages. For example, one resident needed water to administer medication to her dog and had to order bottled water when the water supply was cut off for several hours.

WRAL's report highlights the difficulties faced by the community during the construction period and the impact on daily life in the neighborhood.
