Carolina Hurricanes goalie Pyotr Kochetkov made 24 saves for a shutout in a 4-0 victory against St. Louis.
Pyotr Kochetkov made 24 saves to earn his first shutout of the season and the 12th in his NHL career as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the St. Louis Blues 4-0 on Saturday night, WRAL reported.
Kochetkov has won all seven of his starts this season, giving him the NHL's longest active winning streak and bringing him within one win of the franchise record set by Frederik Andersen in 2021-22, according to the Associated Press.
The Hurricanes improved their record to 9-2-2 with goals from Sean Walker, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Logan Stankoven, and Nikolaj Ehlers, who scored the final goal of the game.
