Man wanted in deadly Clayton County gas station shooting arrested

Clayton County police confirmed the arrest of a man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting at the Marathon Gas Riverdale Xpress Mart on Riverdale Road. The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. earlier this month when officers responded to reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot to death. Police identified the suspect shortly after the incident and issued arrest warrants. The shooting reportedly stemmed from an argument between the two men and appeared to be an isolated event.
