A landscaping truck crashed through a bus stop, a tree, and into multiple storefronts in North Miami on Friday, according to WSVN 7News and WPLG Local 10. The crash caused significant damage to the businesses, forcing some to board up their storefronts as reported by CBS News Miami.

The incident occurred on 125th Street, where the truck hit the bus bench and the formal wear store A-Z FormalWear, among other businesses. Despite the damage, the formal wear store continued operating as usual, according to a property manager cited by WSVN.

Two men inside the truck were taken to a local hospital as a precaution, and no serious injuries were reported among pedestrians, WSVN said. The driver reportedly lost control of the steering and brakes and was cited for reckless driving.

Public works officials began a large cleanup effort following the crash, with debris from the bus stop and storefronts scattered across the street. Property managers expressed relief that no one was sitting at the bus benches at the time, preventing a more serious incident.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash, and the affected businesses are assessing the damage and repairs needed.
