Last Shakey's Pizza parlor in Washington offers nostalgic buffet in Pasco

The last remaining Shakey's Pizza parlor in Washington state is located in Pasco, according to reports from kffm.com and keyw.com. This location preserves the nostalgic family pizza buffet experience popular in past decades.

Shakey's offers a pizza buffet, salad bar, and specialty buffet items like fried chicken and spaghetti. The restaurant also features an arcade room with classic games and plays oldies music from the 1980s and 1990s, creating a retro atmosphere.

Washington once had several Shakey's locations, but most closed by the early 1990s after multiple ownership changes. At its peak, there were about 500 Shakey's worldwide, as noted by Patrick Herron, author of Remembering Shakey's Pizza Parlor.

Visitors to the Pasco Shakey's pay upon entry, then can enjoy the buffet offerings. Popular choices include cheese sticks, pepperoni and sausage pizza, and salads with Caesar dressing. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays until 10 p.m., and Sundays until 8 p.m.
