A fatal crash occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of Centreville Road and Rugby Road in Manassas, Prince William County, according to FOX 5 DC.

A 33-year-old man from Manassas was driving a 2021 BMW M5 southbound when he lost control, crossed into northbound lanes, and collided head-on with a 2013 Ford Explorer, FOX 5 DC reported.

The Manassas driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ford Explorer's driver, a 21-year-old woman from Leesburg, and two passengers, also from Leesburg, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized, FOX 5 DC said.

Prince William County police have not yet determined the cause of the BMW losing control. Investigators are working to understand the circumstances leading to the crash, and authorities are seeking witnesses to contact them.
