Dry, mild weather expected for Halloween trick-or-treating in DC area
Washington DC area will see dry, mild conditions Saturday with highs in the low to mid-60s, ideal for outdoor Halloween activities.
WTOP reported that Halloween in the Washington DC area will feature dry weather with no rain expected during the afternoon and evening, making it suitable for trick-or-treating and outdoor celebrations.
Temperatures on Saturday are forecast to reach the low to mid-60s with a mix of sun and clouds, according to 7News Senior Meteorologist Steve Rudin. Evening temperatures will drop from near 60 degrees into the lower 50s, but conditions will remain dry.
Daylight saving time ends early Sunday morning, with clocks turning back one hour at 2 a.m. This will result in sunrise at 6:35 a.m. and sunset at 5:07 p.m., bringing brighter mornings and earlier sunsets to the DC area.
Sunday is expected to be mostly cloudy with highs around 65 degrees and dry weather continuing, although a stray shower is possible late Sunday night. Monday will remain mild with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s and mostly dry conditions, with only a slight chance of a spotty shower.
