The Morgan Hill City Council has given unanimous approval to a housing development that will add 105 single-family homes to the area just east of the U.S. Highway 101 Cochrane Road exit, according to San José Spotlight.

The project will be built on a 15.8-acre lot located in South County, aiming to increase housing availability in the region.

The project is identified as a builder’s remedy project and has received city approval.

The new homes are expected to contribute to the ongoing efforts to expand residential options in the South County area of Santa Clara County.
