OKC Thunder sign Micah Peavy to two-way contract
Former Pelicans second-round pick Micah Peavy joins the Thunder's two-way roster for the 2026-27 NBA season.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have added Micah Peavy to their two-way contract roster, according to Yahoo Sports and Hoops Hype.
Peavy was selected 40th overall in the 2025 NBA draft out of Georgetown and spent his rookie season with the New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 4.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 61 games.
He was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in September 2026 but was waived on October 19 before signing with the Thunder.
Peavy joins Brooks Barnhizer and Josh Dix as the Thunder's three two-way players, each eligible to be active for up to 50 regular-season games, with expectations of significant time in the G League with the OKC Blue.
The Thunder had a need for a healthy player on their third two-way spot, making Peavy the best available option.
Another player, Oweh, is rehabbing a torn Achilles tendon and may remain with the OKC Blue with a chance to return to a two-way deal next summer if he recovers well.
