Ozzy Osbourne final show film premieres at Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles
Ozzy Osbourne's farewell concert film premiered in Los Angeles with a star-studded event benefiting local homeless charities.
The world premiere of 'Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning' took place on October 14 at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, according to wcsx.com and wjrz.com. The event was hosted by Sharon and Jack Osbourne and brought together family, friends, and notable figures from the rock and metal music scenes to honor Ozzy Osbourne's legacy.
The film captures Ozzy Osbourne's final live performance with Black Sabbath on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, his hometown. Ozzy passed away 17 days later at age 76, marking the concert as a significant final chapter in his influential career in heavy metal music.
The premiere also featured a historic reunion of Black Sabbath's original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—performing together for the first time in over 20 years. The purple carpet included appearances by prominent musicians such as Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, KISS bassist Gene Simmons, Metallica's Robert Trujillo, and Tool drummer Danny Carey.
In addition to celebrating Ozzy's career, the event had a charitable component. Half of the proceeds from a limited number of public tickets were donated to homeless charities in the Los Angeles area, as reported by Hennemusic.com. The film runs about two and a half hours and documents a large celebration of heavy music organized by Tom Morello and hosted by actor Jason Momoa.
