More than 1,600 customers in San Diego's backcountry experienced a power outage early Saturday, with restoration expected by noon.

More than 1,600 San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) customers in the San Diego backcountry lost power early Saturday morning, according to FOX 5 San Diego.

The utility company expects to restore service by noon, minimizing the outage duration for affected residents.
