A large home in San Francisco's Presidio Heights neighborhood has returned to the market just six months after an off-market sale, the San Francisco Standard reported. The 8,000-square-foot estate at 3501 Jackson St. sold in June for $21 million and now has an asking price of $19.9 million after a minor renovation.

The owners initially did not plan to hold the property for such a short time, but a home they had long desired became available nearby, prompting them to sell the Jackson Street property, according to the listing agent Nina Hatvany at Compass.

Hatvany noted that the buyers had wanted the new home for 15 years and declined to confirm if it was the property at 20 Cherry St., which recently sold for $28.5 million, exceeding its asking price by $10 million.

Public records show both the LLC that purchased the Jackson Street home and the LLC that bought the Cherry Street property were represented by the Minneapolis office of wealth management firm Cresset, indicating a possible connection between the transactions.

Hatvany suggested that some buyers may be actively pursuing multiple high-end homes in the area, reflecting ongoing demand in San Francisco's luxury real estate market.
