The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series on Monday night, securing a spot in the World Series for the third time in the franchise's 29 seasons, WPLG Local 10 reported.

Pitcher Freddy Peralta delivered 5 1/3 strong innings, helping to limit the Guardians' offense during the game, according to WPLG Local 10.

Offensively, Junior Caminero and Yandy Díaz each contributed two-run home runs, providing key runs that supported the Rays' victory, WPLG Local 10 noted.

This win marks another milestone for the Rays as they continue their pursuit of a World Series title, with the team now advancing to the championship series once again, WPLG Local 10 said.
