A developer has revised its application to build a residential complex in the Palo Verde neighborhood near U.S. Highway 101, according to Palo Alto Online.

The updated proposal calls for a seven-story building containing 244 apartments alongside 25 three-story townhouses.

The site at 3350 West Bayshore Road, currently zoned for research, office, and limited manufacturing, would see existing office buildings demolished to make way for the housing development.

Strada Investment Group is the developer behind the project, which aims to add 269 housing units to the area.

The project reflects an effort to increase residential options in the Palo Verde neighborhood, close to major transportation routes.
