As Election Day approaches on Nov. 3, U.S. Senate candidates Angie Nixon and Ashley Moody have been actively campaigning across Central Florida, including stops in Eatonville and Orlando, WKMG News 6 ClickOrlando reported.

Nixon, the Democratic challenger, held a rally at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville, encouraging supporters to remain engaged and push back against misinformation. She emphasized improving quality of life and addressing hateful rhetoric and disinformation affecting residents.

Moody, the incumbent Republican senator, campaigned statewide, appearing with gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds in Clearwater and joining a rally with former President Donald Trump in Fort Myers. She highlighted standing firm on American principles despite criticism.

The candidates have debated key issues such as Amendment 3, which proposes changes to Florida’s property tax system, and broader economic policies. Voters expressed concerns about rising costs of living and gas prices influencing their decisions at the polls.

With the Senate race drawing attention in Central Florida, campaign activity is expected to continue intensifying as residents prepare to vote in early and general elections.
