Stanford researchers have identified a natural molecule named BRP that significantly reduces appetite and promotes fat loss in animal studies, according to ScienceDaily Health.

The molecule was discovered using artificial intelligence and demonstrated the ability to reduce food intake by up to 50% in animals.

Unlike existing treatments like Ozempic, BRP targets a different brain pathway, which may allow for more precise obesity management.

Importantly, BRP did not cause common digestive side effects or notable muscle loss in the animal trials.

Scientists hope that if human trials confirm these findings, BRP could become a new option for obesity treatment with fewer adverse effects.
