The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation in Summerville is asking the public for help identifying three e-bike riders who damaged its golf course between Nov. 1 and Nov. 2, according to The Post and Courier.

The club manager reported the incident to the North Charleston Police Department, stating that the damage, estimated at $1,000, is part of a recurring problem involving kids on e-bikes damaging the course.

The manager noted that a previous similar incident caused $250,000 in damages, highlighting the ongoing impact on the golf course and potentially on surrounding property values.

The club posted a flyer on Facebook requesting anyone with information to contact both the police and the golf club.

Similar incidents have been reported in other states, including extensive damage caused by e-bike riders at a golf club in Washington and another in California, according to reports cited by The Post and Courier.
