Former President Donald Trump said that if Democrats take control of both the House and the Senate, he plans to adopt a strategy of vetoing legislation passed by a Democratic-controlled Congress, according to The Hill.

During an interview with Fox News, Trump said, "Well, if that happens, I guess I'll become Mr. Veto. I'm not going to let them through."

Trump said he would use veto power to block legislation passed by Democrats if they take control of Congress.

This statement was made in the context of the upcoming congressional elections.
