Two women living in San Jose were arrested on suspicion of murder, KRON4 reported. The arrests came after a body was discovered hidden in a ravine in Livermore last summer, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The suspects, identified as Alexia Nieves Solache, 22, and Veronica Rangel, 55, were taken into custody Tuesday. Detectives determined that the victim had been stabbed at a residence before the body was hidden, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released further details about the victim or the circumstances leading to the stabbing, KRON4 added.
