Water main break disrupts service, closes road in Roseville neighborhood
A water main break in Roseville has cut water service to homes and closed part of Darling Way, officials say.
A water main break in Roseville has caused a temporary disruption of water service to several homes and led to a road closure, city officials reported Wednesday, according to KCRA and CBS News.
The affected homes are located on Darling Way between 601 and 919 addresses, and a single classroom at George Cirby Elementary School was also impacted by the service disruption, CBS News reported.
The break prompted a one-block closure of Darling Way between Clarice Lane and Keehner Avenue, with city officials advising drivers to seek alternate routes, KCRA reported.
Utility crews were preparing to begin repairs shortly before 5:30 p.m., but the city has not provided an estimated time for the restoration of water service or reopening of the road, CBS News noted.
Officials have promised to update the public as more information becomes available, highlighting ongoing efforts to resolve the issue promptly.
