The Osceola County Sheriff's Office reported that two additional students, ages 15 and 16, were arrested for their involvement in a mob attack on a 17-year-old near Harmony High School. This brings the total number of suspects arrested to 11, all students believed to be involved in the group attack.

The incident began on October 16 when the 17-year-old victim intervened in the cafeteria to stop a group of students from throwing carrots at a girl. After a verbal exchange, the victim tried to de-escalate the situation by leaving with his girlfriend.

Hours later, as the victim was walking to his car near a tunnel just off campus, he was struck by a 16-year-old and then beaten by several others, according to the sheriff's office. The attack left the teen bloodied and injured, requiring 11 stitches to his face.

Authorities charged the arrested students with felony aggravated battery and inciting a riot. The ages of those arrested range from 14 to 18 years old. The sheriff's office emphasized that physical intimidation and violence will not be tolerated in schools or the community.

Part of the attack was captured on video and shared with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, aiding in the identification and arrest of the suspects.
