Baltimore boxing champion Gervonta Davis settles Miami domestic violence suit
Baltimore boxing star Gervonta Davis reached a settlement in a domestic violence lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend in Miami.
Baltimore boxing champion Gervonta 'Tank' Davis has settled a civil lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend alleging domestic violence, The Baltimore Banner reported. The suit, filed in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court in 2025, accused Davis of aggravated battery, false imprisonment, and battery, including an alleged attack on October 27, 2025, while the woman was working at a Miami strip club.
The ex-girlfriend's attorney filed a notice of voluntary dismissal after the settlement but declined to disclose the terms. Davis' attorney was not immediately available for comment, according to The Baltimore Banner.
Davis remains charged with attempted kidnapping and battery in Miami and is scheduled for a court hearing on November 17. He also has an outstanding arrest warrant in Baltimore related to a probation violation following a 2020 hit-and-run incident that injured four people, including a pregnant woman.
This case highlights ongoing legal issues for Davis both in Miami and Baltimore, where he is based. The Baltimore Banner continues to cover developments related to the boxer and his legal matters.
