Baltimore police are seeking three juveniles suspected of an armed robbery at a convenience store on Arunah Avenue in west Baltimore on October 8. The incident left an employee injured and the suspects fled with merchandise, according to FOX45 Baltimore.

Authorities released images showing the suspects appear very young, which has intensified calls for juvenile justice reform in the city. A $2,000 reward has been offered for information leading to their capture.

Local officials, including Baltimore City State’s Attorney Ivan Bates, have expressed frustration with current juvenile justice policies. Bates highlighted a recent case where a 12-year-old involved in a fatal crash was deemed too young to be charged.

Advocates argue that the treatment of juveniles by the Department of Juvenile Services and the General Assembly's approach to juvenile crime have been inadequate, with some saying the situation is worsening.

The renewed calls for reform come amid ongoing debates about how to handle juvenile offenders in Baltimore, emphasizing the need for changes in the system to address youth crime more effectively.
