Bon Appétit has released a collection of recipes and advice for a Thanksgiving meal, featuring dishes such as gravy-braised turkey, bright collard greens with vinaigrette, and a fully loaded cornbread inspired by stuffing. The cornbread includes sausage, celery, herbs, and a two-to-one ratio of cornmeal to flour for a moist yet structured crumb, according to Bon Appétit.

The cornbread recipe involves cooking green bell pepper, onion, celery, and Italian sausage before combining with a batter of cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda, herbs, buttermilk, butter, and eggs. It is baked until golden brown and can be prepared up to four hours in advance.

Other dishes featured include a pear salad with honey-roasted seeds, buttered nut squash topped with brown butter, pecans, sage, and bacon, a cabbage galette with jammy onions and sharp cheese, and salt bread. The recipes reflect a decade of Bon Appétit's Thanksgiving Test Kitchen experience.

Bon Appétit also suggests guests bring thoughtful food items beyond just wine to contribute to the meal. The full range of recipes and tips can be found on their Thanksgiving Hub for 2026.
