Nick Timoney, Craig Casey, and Sean Jansen have been named to start for Ireland in their Nations Championship match against Argentina on Friday night at the Aviva Stadium, according to BBC Sport and Yahoo Sports.

Jamison Gibson-Park and Josh van der Flier will be on the bench for Ireland. Gibson-Park, who has been one of Ireland's best performers in recent seasons, is returning from a groin injury and has only played one game this season. His place at scrum-half has been given to Craig Casey, who will partner with fly-half Sam Prendergast, recently recovered from a wrist injury, in the half-back positions.

Sean Jansen is filling in at number eight due to injuries to captain Caelan Doris and Jack Conan. Jansen, who plays for Connacht, made a try-scoring debut for Ireland in July and has appeared in eight previous Tests, mostly as a substitute.

Nick Timoney, an Ulster back row player, will start his ninth consecutive Test, having previously been a frequent bench player. His selection comes at the expense of former World Rugby player of the year Josh van der Flier.

Other notable starters include Robbie Henshaw at inside center, forming a midfield partnership with Stuart McCloskey, while wing Mack Hansen, prop Andrew Porter, and Ryan Baird return to the starting lineup after missing recent fixtures due to injury.

Ireland resumes their Nations Championship campaign with this match, aiming to build on their recent performances despite several key players missing through injury.
