Central North Carolina, including the Raleigh area, has experienced a dry stretch with no measurable rain since October 17, CBS17 reported.

A cold front approaching the region is expected to bring isolated showers as early as Wednesday, according to CBS17.

The main rainfall event is forecast to occur Thursday into Friday, with the best chances for rain over the next 10 days.

Temperatures will continue to be influenced by this weather pattern, CBS17 noted, though specific temperature details were not provided.
