Castle football secured a 28-14 victory over North in the Sectional 16 championship on November 6, according to Yahoo Sports.

Castle's impact was felt early with a punt return touchdown by wide receiver Ben Quach, a 27-yard touchdown from wide receiver Jaivon Aunspach, and a quarterback sneak by Sawyer Winsett.

The game's outcome was largely determined by Castle's defense, which limited North's rushing attack led by quarterback Jayden Jones and running back Hunter McKinney.

Castle's defense made key stops near its goal line, including a fourth-down stop and a forced fumble recovery, contributing to the win at John Lidy Field.

Despite North's defense forcing three interceptions off Winsett, their offense struggled to find consistency, though they had moments such as a 26-yard touchdown on a screen play from Jones to McKinney.

This win marked Castle's 17th sectional title and the 10th for coach Doug Hurt, who praised the defense's resilience throughout the game.
