Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai returned to practice on Friday for the first time in over a month, according to Yahoo Sports. Monangai has missed the last four games due to a toe injury sustained in Week 4 against the Jets, where he ran for 146 yards and scored two touchdowns.

Monangai was a limited participant in practice and has been officially listed as questionable for the Bears' upcoming game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The Bears have a bye in Week 10, so Monangai's return to practice could signal his availability for Week 11.

Yahoo Sports also reported that Monangai's status will likely be a game-time decision, with uncertainty about whether he can handle his normal workload after the extended absence. Fantasy football players are advised to monitor the inactive list for updates.

The Bears' running game had been impacted by Monangai's absence, and his potential return alongside teammate D'Andre Swift could help rebalance the offense. Other Bears players listed as questionable for Sunday include defensive back Malik Muhammad and cornerback Tyrique Stevenson.

Players without injury designations include left tackle Theo Benedet, linebacker T.J. Edwards, and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, according to Yahoo Sports.

Head coach Ben Johnson has commented on Monangai's situation, noting the length of time he has missed, though specific remarks were not detailed in the reports.
