Spain's national team manager Luis de la Fuente has announced the squad for their UEFA Nations League fixtures against Czechia and England, including players from top clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona, Yahoo Sports reported.

Two Real Madrid players, Dean Huijsen and Marc Cucurella, have been called up. Huijsen returns to the squad after missing the World Cup, while Cucurella remains a regular selection. However, their playing time is not guaranteed, with other defenders ahead in the lineup, according to Yahoo Sports.

From Barcelona, five players have been named: goalkeeper Joan Garcia, defender Pau Cubarsi, midfielders Pedri and Fermin Lopez, and forward Lamine Yamal. Garcia returns after recovering from injury, while key players Rodri and Eric Garcia miss out due to injuries. Gavi is also absent due to limited recent playing time, Yahoo Sports noted.

Spain will face Czechia away on November 12 and host England on November 15. The matches will see some club teammates competing against each other, such as Real Madrid players facing their teammates called up by England.

The squad announcement reflects the ongoing adjustments due to injuries and form, with several notable absences and returns. The upcoming Nations League games will provide further opportunities for players to stake their claim for regular national team roles.
