Chandler Smith secured a victory in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Black’s Tire 200 at Martinsville Speedway on Friday night, according to Yahoo Sports. He made a late-race pass on his Front Row Motorsports teammate Layne Riggs to claim the win.

Ben Rhodes finished second, while Riggs held on for third place. Ty Majeski and Tristan McKee completed the top five finishers in the race.

Layne Riggs had a strong performance earlier in the race, winning the first two stages and narrowing Kaden Honeycutt's points lead to 20 with one race remaining, Yahoo Sports reported. Honeycutt, who continues to lead the Truck Series points standings, was shuffled back from the top five to 14th place on the final restart.

The race results and points standings update come as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series approaches its final race of the season, with Honeycutt still leading the championship battle.

Full unofficial results from the race include Spencer Boyd finishing one lap down and Tyler Tomassi four laps down, while Justin Carroll did not finish the race, according to Yahoo Sports.
