Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Dr. Annie Andrews and congressional candidate Nancy Lacore held a rally in the Lowcountry to encourage volunteers to continue voter outreach as Election Day nears, Live 5 WCSC reported.

Andrews, a pediatrician challenging Republican Senator Darline Graham, emphasized the need for change in Washington and is seeking support from Democrats, Independents, and Republicans alike.

Lacore, a retired three-star Navy admiral running against Republican Jenny Costa Honeycutt for South Carolina’s First Congressional District, highlighted issues such as housing, health care, child care, and flood insurance costs affecting local families.

Both candidates described their races as toss-ups and urged their supporters to keep canvassing and engaging with voters through Tuesday, November 3, according to Live 5 WCSC.
