Expedia Group CEO Ariane Gorin discussed the company's ongoing efforts to work with major AI platforms, including Meta's Muse and Google's AI Overviews, as new customer acquisition channels, Skift reported.

Gorin noted that the economics of these partnerships are still being worked out, but Expedia has a history of successfully collaborating with large advertising and tech platforms to acquire customers at favorable costs.

The company is currently using these AI integrations to understand how AI agents make booking decisions and to identify which customers prefer these new channels.

Expedia's business-to-business revenue grew 23% year over year to $1.7 billion, while its consumer brands grew 6%, according to recent reports.
