Multiple federal agencies have recently published notices inviting public comments on their information collection requests (ICRs) as part of compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA). The Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division submitted an ICR related to the Employee Polygraph Protection Act to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, inviting public input as reported in the Federal Register.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) announced its intention to seek OMB approval for extending an existing information collection concerning questionnaire and data collection testing without changes, also requesting public comments.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is preparing for its tenth biennial 'How America Banks Survey' scheduled for 2027, conducted in partnership with the U.S. Census Bureau. The FDIC is soliciting comments on the survey instrument which collects data on U.S. households' use of bank accounts.

Additionally, the Veterans Benefits Administration is submitting a Medical Expense Report collection to OMB for review and comment, describing the nature and burden of the data collection. The Department of the Treasury is requesting comments on renewal of mandatory Treasury International Capital (TIC) forms used for international financial data reporting.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) also announced a comment period for proposed rapid response surveys designed to quickly gather safety information, in accordance with PRA requirements.
