The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in locating a 57-year-old man who has been reported missing. According to Live 5 WCSC, the man, Christopher Todd Harms, stopped communicating with his family on Friday after having moved out of his home on Massick Lane in Pawleys Island two weeks prior.

Deputies said Harms had maintained phone contact with his family until recently, when he reached out in a heightened emotional state before ceasing communication. He was last seen driving a gray 2017 Toyota Tacoma with South Carolina license plates numbered 774-DTE, ABC News 4 WCIV reported.

Authorities urge anyone with information about Harms’ whereabouts to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 843-546-5102. The search is ongoing as deputies continue their efforts to locate him.
