Iridium Communications reports strong Q3 earnings in McLean

Iridium Communications in McLean posted higher-than-expected Q3 earnings and revenue, beating Wall Street forecasts.

Iridium Communications Inc., based in McLean, Virginia, reported a net income of $106.9 million for the third quarter, according to WTOP.

On a per-share basis, Iridium said it earned 98 cents, with adjusted earnings of 38 cents per share. These results surpassed the expectations of Wall Street analysts.

The company also posted revenue of $245.7 million in the quarter, exceeding the forecasted $240.8 million by analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research.
