Joe Burrow leads Bengals to 35-13 comeback win over Ravens with 4 second-half TDs
The Bengals overcame a 13-0 halftime deficit to shut out the Ravens in the second half and win 35-13.
The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Baltimore Ravens 35-13 on Sunday, overcoming a 13-0 halftime deficit, according to Yahoo Sports. The Bengals scored all 35 points in the second half, shutting out the Ravens at M&T Stadium.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow threw four touchdown passes in the second half, completing 22 of 30 passes for 292 yards. Wide receiver Tee Higgins caught six passes for 148 yards and one touchdown, while Ja'Marr Chase had five catches for 62 yards.
The Ravens took an early lead with a 48-yard touchdown run by Zay Flowers and two second-quarter field goals by Tyler Loop, leading 13-0 at halftime. Baltimore's offense held the ball for over 22 minutes in the first half but was limited to just two first downs in the second half, Yahoo Sports reported.
Joe Burrow credited Ja'Marr Chase with motivating the Bengals during halftime. Burrow said the team executed well in the second half, improving their passing and running games to make key plays.
Baltimore's starting quarterback Lamar Jackson missed his third straight game due to an ankle injury. Backup Tyler Huntley threw an incomplete pass on a critical fourth-and-2 in the second half, stalling a Ravens drive.
The Bengals will next face the Tennessee Titans on November 1 at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. Channel 7 will broadcast the game.
